The Varsity R Club Supports the Fightin' Engineers

Rose-Hulman is more than a top-ranked engineering college - it's also home to outstanding student-athletes who work as hard on the field as they do in the classroom.

The Varsity R Club gives alumni, parents, and friends of Rose-Hulman the opportunity to be MVPs by financially supporting our athletic programs and teams. 

Rose-Hulman proudly fields 20 men's and women's Division III varsity teams competing in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Our student-athletes are part of a long and distinguished tradition of excellence, including scores of conference champions, and .

Varsity R Club

The Varsity R Club raises funds for our outstanding varsity programs, meeting their most urgent needs for success.

All Rose-Hulman student-athletes are automatically lifetime members of the Varsity R Club, as are coaches, managers, parents of athletes, and inductees in the .

Anyone who financially supports Rose-Hulman Athletics, including the Varsity R Club, the Athletic Endowment, or a selected sports program, is a Varsity R Club Patron for that year.

Our Board of Directors

The Varisty R Club Board of Directors is made up of varsity athletics alumni, coaches, athletic staff, and supporters of Rose-Hulman student-athletes. We are closely connected with the coaches, players, and staff who know where the most urgent needs lie for each team. We love Rose and know the importance of athletics to the success of our students!

Steve Brady

Steven P. Brady

As vice president of Institutional Advancement, Steve Brady oversees RHIT fundraising, alumni affairs, and corporate and foundation giving. 

Brady began his career at Webster University, from which he graduated with honors in 1996, as phonathon coordinator. After three years, he moved to Saint Joseph's College where he directed the college fund, increased alumni donor participation rates by 11 percent and phonathon revenue by 40 percent in just six years.

In 2006, Brady joined Chicago-based Illinois Institute of Technology, where he significantly grew the major gifts program, introduced a metrics-driven method of measuring outcomes and led a successful $250 million campaign. He joined Rose-Hulman in 2016.
