We can Help!

Want to use a bike, elliptical, or a treadmill? How about free weights or reflectorized weight equipment? The SRC has what you need! We have nearly 80 pieces of state-of-the-art equipment in our cardio and weight rooms. If you are new to fitness or want to continue your current exercise program, check out all the SRC has to offer!

Fitness Assessments

TANITA Body Composition Analysis. The TANITA bioelectric impedance tests full body composition measurements. It provides calculations for fat, muscle, bone, water mass, visceral fat, BMR, and a unique metabolic age assessment.

Dance Fitness

BoxHIIT

Pilates

Spin

A spin class is a high-energy, indoor cycling workout led by an instructor, typically set to motivating music. Participants ride stationary bikes, adjusting resistance and speed to simulate various terrains and intensities. The class often includes a mix of sprints, hill climbs, and interval training, designed to boost cardiovascular fitness, build muscle strength, and burn calories. It's a group exercise that fosters a sense of community and support, making it a fun and engaging way to stay fit.

 

 

Interested in being a group fitness instructor?

The Department of Recreational Sports and Athletic Facilities is currently looking for students who are interested in leading group fitness classes. Group Fitness Instructors lead and instruct group fitness classes to individuals with multiple fitness levels. Leading classes includes planning and organizing class components, but it is also a way to help others reach their fitness goals. Additional responsibilities include providing high quality customer service and motivation techniques to class participants, while creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere.
