Itself a work of art, the iconic White Chapel is a venue like no other. From the sleek, stainless steel exterior and stunning lake view to its pristine acoustics, the chapel is the perfect setting for your wedding experience.

Nearby, the Vonderschmitt awaits your wedding party's celebration with its state-of-the-art audio/visual system, dramatic floor-to-ceiling lake view, comfortable seating and dance floor.

Catering service for the Vonderschmitt is provided by Bon Appetit, which places special emphasis on using locally sourced ingredients in its made-from-scratch fare.

Reserving the chapel

We offer a four-hour time slot on Saturdays for your special day and a two-hour time slot the evening before for your rehearsal. Reservations for 2025 are now being taken. Email weddings@rose-hulman.edu for more information.

Rental Fees and Online Payments

For current pricing email weddings@rose-hulman.edu.
Online payments made by debit or credit card will be subject to a non-refundable 2.85% convenience fee for domestic card payments, 4.25% for international card payments, and the minimum service fee for card transactions over $20 and less than $106 will be $3. Online payments made by electronic check will not be subject to a fee.

Mussallem Union Information

The Mussallem Union, just a short walk from the White Chapel, is in the heart of Rose-Hulman's campus. [View campus map] Inside, the Vonderschmitt Hall can accommodate wedding receptions and other events for up to 350 people. We can accommodate 250 people with a dance floor.
The Mussallem Union has venue space for your special meetings, events, or conferences. The Vonderschmitt Hall has limited availability during break weeks during the academic year.
