FIRST JOB AFTER ROSE-HULMAN?
MOST VALUABLE LESSON YOU LEARNED ON THAT JOB?
I realized that I want to help solve our customers’ problems because the closer you work with your customers the better you understand their challenges and the more you can identify with your company’s purpose.
MOST MEMORABLE ROSE-HULMAN PROFESSOR?
Dr. Gibson [Mechanical Engineering], he was my thesis adviser and my mentor. His support and guidance meant a lot to me…I just moved to the U.S. and he made my transition to Rose easier.
IDEAL WEEKEND?
Workout, have breakfast with my husband and daughters. Rest of the day, go for a long walk, watch a movie or catch up with friends at dinner.
STAR TREK OR STAR WARS?
Star Wars…I also have to mention…I loved The Martian.
WHAT IS THE NERDIEST THING YOU DO?
Nerdiest thing is probably that I am helping girls to feel comfortable and be interested in STEM…as the executive co-sponsor of GE girls. By the way being a nerd is very cool.
ADVICE TO INCOMING ROSE-HULMAN STUDENTS?
