Course Descriptions

The completion of the Army ROTC program leads to a commission as a Second Lieutenant in the Active Army, Army Reserve or Army National Guard. Students completing the program receive their commissions upon graduation and serve a specified period of active duty ranging from three months to four years, depending upon the student鈥檚 choice of commissioning program and Army requirements.

MS 201 - Leadership and Decision Making

  • Prerequisites: MS 101 and MS 102 and MS 103 or consent of instructor
  • Corequisites: None

MS 201 explores the dimensions of creative and innovative tactical leadership strategies and styles by examining team dynamics and two historical leadership theories that form the basis of the Army leadership framework. Aspects of personal motivation and team building are practiced planning, executing and assessing team exercises.
