Corequisites: There are no corequisites for this course.
Physical, historical, chemical, structural and environmental aspects of earth science addressed from an engineer鈥檚 or environmental scientist鈥檚 perspective. The course includes study of minerals and rocks, investigation of geologic hazards, an introduction to rock and soil mechanics, case studies, and interpretation of topographic maps, geologic maps and aerial photographs.
