Dr. Marc Herniter specializes in analog electronics, power electronics and automotive systems and has taught an introductory-level, model-based systems design course in China. He has served as an expert witness on several high profile cases involving Porsche Cars North America, Texas Instruments and Samsung Electronics. Dr. Herniter advises Rose-Hulman’s NXP Cup Model-Based Design club, and has implementeda high school autonomous vehicle competition, where students program a microcontroller to autonomously follow a random track. Students learn the design process, microcontrollers, programming and image recognition.
