Dr. Michael Kukral teaches geography and specializes in cultural and political geography, European, Middle East, and African geography and the environment and cultural ecology. He conducted research at Charles University in Prague through a Fulbright fellowship and has led student trips to Europe and Kenya. Dr. Kukral also is involved with both Faculty Without Borders and Engineers Without Borders student groups. He advises the Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity and has a collection of reproducing player pianos and music rolls that includes rare instruments.
