The technical requirements for our courses are minimal. Access to the internet on your school-issued laptop or mobile device is sufficient. In order to participate in Skype sessions, you might need to purchase a headset with a built-in microphone. If this is the case, an inexpensive headset/mic combination will suffice.
Some courses may require specialized software, and your instructor will notify you prior to your course’s start date if you need to download these items.
Dr. Dee is the Associate Dean for Learning and Technology and a Professor of Biology and Biomedical Engineering. In 2004 she joined the Faculty at Rose-Hulman, and in 2007 she served as the founding Director of the Rose-Hulman Center for the Practice and Scholarship of Education.
She earned her Ph.D. and master’s degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and her bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.
