Applying is easy! Just follow these steps:
STEP 1
Fill out the online application by Monday, April 7th, 2025. Space is limited, so be sure to indicate which session you want to attend. There is no cost to apply for Operation Catapult.
Application Criteria: Operation Catapult is open to students during the summers after their sophomore or junior year. You'll need a year of chemistry or physics to be considered for admission to the program. Admission is selective. We look to admit students who have been successful in high school and will be successful at Operation Catapult.
STEP 2
For students who are applying for the summer of 2025 Catapult Sessions, you will need to supply a recommendation from your counselor or teacher. We are allowing students to upload a copy of their own transcript to their portal. This can include a screenshot of the transcript, a picture, or a current grade card with multiple years of grades showing. Please ensure that your name is on the transcript and is visible when uploaded. If we are unable to process the self-submitted transcript, we may ask for a verified high school transcript.
After Your Application Is Complete:
• Once your application is approved you will need to submit a $100 deposit to reserve your spot. Operation Catapult sessions will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Please do not make any travel arrangements or payments prior to receiving application approval.
• All Catapult notifications will be sent to the student's email address, including information about the application portal and decision and payment details.
