As a result, you will be receiving a disbursement in the amount of $1500. This grant is intended to help you with the cost of your attendance at Rose-Hulman, or for emergency costs that arise due to coronavirus such as food, housing, health care (including mental health care), or child care.
The total amount of emergency grant funding allocated to Rose-Hulman was determined by a funding formula based on the percentage of Full-Time Enrolled (FTE) students who are Pell Grant and non-Pell Grant recipients. Your emergency financial grant amount was determined according to the formula established by Rose-Hulman based on your demonstrated financial need through information obtained from your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
If you have a direct deposit account established with Rose-Hulman, your emergency relief grant will be deposited into that account. If you do not have a direct deposit account, your emergency relief grant will be issued via check.
