Individual & small group tutoring
At the Learning Center, you’re always welcome to walk in with or without a tutoring appointment. Our tutors are here to help with all freshmen and sophomore courses and also most upper-level courses.
You can make an appointment to meet with a specific tutor, but appointments aren’t necessary. We also help with writing assignments of all kinds: resumes, cover letters, lab reports and more.
Percopo Hall - a seamless living and learning environment
Sophomore year can be difficult, so we’ve established one of our residence halls, Percopo, as a living-learning community. The hall features live-in peer tutors, scheduled study sessions, and several group study areas. Percopo Hall also has a library, classroom and several lounges and study areas. It’s the perfect hall place to help you make it through your sophomore year!
Percopo’s Learning Center-selected tutors are available Sunday – Thursday evenings in the classroom and in their dorms by appointment. They conduct one-on-one and group tutoring, homework support, course review sessions, exam reviews and life-learning workshops
English as a Second Language (ESL) Tutoring
We also provide English as a Second Language (ESL) tutors for non-native English speakers. You can work individually with a tutor or as part of a small group. Our tutors will help you with your English language skills, including writing, conversational speech and pronunciation. ESL tutors are available Sunday – Thursday evenings.
