All payments must be received in the Student Financial Services Office (MOENCH, A102) by 5 p.m. on the due date.
There will be a $25.00 late fee assessed on any outstanding balance remaining after the due date. Interest at one and one-half percent per month (18% APR) will be added to all accounts 60 days past due.
GI Bill® students will not receive late fees or be penalized or prohibited from attending or participating in courses while awaiting payment from the Veteran's Administration (for up to 90 days).

529 Plan Payments
The reporting requirements for processing 529 plan payments to RHIT vary by program provider. However, parents, guardians or students must contact your 529 provider to initiate the payout process. Checks should include the student name and student ID number. Checks should be mailed to:

If RHIT is required to issue an invoice or other documentation to the provider to receive payment, we will process that necessary paperwork once the drop/add period has ended each (approximately 10 days after the start of the quarter). If this delay causes the student account to incur late fees - those fees will be refunded once the 529 plan issues payment if all other balances have been paid in full.
There is also an option to link your 529 Plan directly to Transact Payments to allow the 529 provider to make payments electronically. Currently, it is a limited number of 529 providers that are participating in this electronic option. You can view the list of eligible providers in your Transact Payments account.
Tuition Payment Plans Available!
Two plan options are available beginning July 15.
The Annual Payment Plan allows students or payers to pay for their annual tuition account charges over 10 months. The annual plan has a one-time $60 enrollment fee that is assessed when you sign-up. Enrollment in the annual plan is available until September 10th.
The Annual Payment Plan amount is determined by you. Using the payment calculator provided in Transact Payments, you will enter the following: The Annual Tuition and Fees Balance, Room/Board Balance and Anticipated Financial Aid. The sum of the balances, less anticipated financial aid, is the amount you will use to calculate the payment plan amount. As changes are made throughout the quarter (e.g. new charges are applied to the account or additional aid is received), you are responsible for adjusting your budget accordingly to account for those additional costs or credits.
The Quarter Payment Plan allows students or payers to pay for one quarter of tuition charges divided into 3 equal installments. The quarter plan has a $35 enrollment fee that is assessed each quarter when you sign up for the plan (to participate in this payment option you must enroll each quarter). The enrollment period and due dates vary by plan as indicated in the table below. Quarter payment plans will not be active until charges for that quarter have been assessed to the tuition account.

The sum of the balances, less anticipated financial aid, is the amount utilized to calculate the payment plan amount. As changes are made throughout the quarter (e.g. new charges are applied to the account or additional aid is received), they are spread out over the remaining plan payments.

Please note that anticipated aid is all aid that we expect will disburse but has not yet been released as a payment (normally for regulatory reasons). In the case of loans, anticipated aid must be approved for disbursement (i.e. we have a signed promissory note and the student has completed entrance counseling).
FEES:
There will be a $60 one-time fee to sign-up for the Annual Payment Plan. There will be a $35 fee for each quarter to sign-up for a Quarter Payment Plan. In addition, there will be a $10 late fee for any missed payments. If a second payment is missed, the payment plan will be cancelled and payment in full is required.
