Coons Once Again Featured Among Indiana鈥檚 Most Influential Leaders
For the second year in a row, Rose-Hulman President Robert A. Coons has been recognized among Indiana鈥檚 250 most influential and impactful leaders for making a difference within the state.
For the second straight year, Rose-Hulman President Robert A. Coons has been recognized among Indiana’s 250 most influential and impactful leaders across business, education, government, philanthropy, the arts, and not-for-profit organizations for making a difference within the state.
The 2024 Indiana 250 list was unveiled during a reception July 17 in downtown Indianapolis. A profile detailing Coons is featured in the special Indiana 250 book and .
The list was compiled by the executives, editors, and newsroom staffs at IBJ Media’s three news brands — Indianapolis Business Journal, Inside INdiana Business, and Indiana Lawyer — after a monthslong process that included reviewing nominations, researching Indiana organizations, and talking with community leaders across the state.
“We believe the people on the Indiana 250 list are especially worthy of distinction. They are thinking big and driving change,” said IBJ Media CEO Nate Feltman in a news release announcing this year’s honorees. “Creating this list is always inspiring because the people on it have so much passion for our communities and our state.”
Coons, the Institute’s 16th President, has provided experience and leadership that have helped guide the nation’s No. 1-ranked undergraduate engineering college to success and a celebration of its 150th anniversary.
