FIRST JOB AFTER ROSE-HULMAN?
Lockheed Martin, Advanced Technology Labs, Artificial Intelligence Lab.
MOST VALUABLE LESSON YOU LEARNED ON THAT JOB?
Keep an eye out for interesting projects going on around you and figure out how to get involved in them - these are what keep your job fresh.
MOST MEMORABLE ROSE-HULMAN PROFESSOR?
I had a whole lot of great professors at Rose. But one that I remember the most was Prof. Bremmer and his economics classes. He took what could be some rather dry subject matter and made it interesting. I still remember lots of graphs of Guns v Butter.
IDEAL WEEKEND?
I tend to appreciate the simple things - spending time with friends, getting a good meal, and playing some board games.
STAR TREK OR STAR WARS?
While it's tough to turn down lightsaber duels and space battles with lasers, I've always appreciated Star Trek's somewhat more realistic/scientific take on Science Fiction
WHAT IS THE NERDIEST THING YOU DO?
I program video games for a living. It's tough to get too much nerdier than that.
ADVICE TO INCOMING ROSE-HULMAN STUDENTS?
Pay attention to the lessons you learn during your group projects. These are how the real world works.
