FIRST JOB AFTER ROSE-HULMAN?
Manufacturing engineer at Rolls-Royce in the power gear cell.
MOST VALUABLE LESSON YOU LEARNED ON THAT JOB?
That you can learn from everyone you work with. And just as soon as you think you know it all, you do something stupid to remind yourself you have lots left to learn.
MOST MEMORABLE ROSE-HULMAN PROFESSOR?
Dr. Stamper [Mechanical Engineering/Engineering Management] was my most memorable prof. It was my junior year when he planted the seed in my head that I really was smart and could do whatever I put my mind to. From there I took off.
IDEAL WEEKEND?
Sleeping in and then hanging out with my family and friends all day. Throw in some one else cooking all my food with that too!
STAR TREK OR STAR WARS?
Neither. Not a fan of space stories. But, because you are making me pick, Star Wars because my son loves it.
WHAT IS THE NERDIEST THING YOU DO?
I have our quality process numbers memorized.
